Shaolin Mountain Hostel
a home to martial art trainees
Shaolin Mountain Hostel was newly opened in summer 2016, in a small village of Wangzhigou, inside famous world heritage Shaolin Temple scenic area.
Our concept is to offer a Chinese home at the origin of Shaolin martial arts, to those who train and preserve shaolin tradition and spirit all over the world, and welcome them back home anytime they wish.
We are also opened to tourists and to all those who wish to train martial arts in the heart of iconic Sholin Temple's area

About Our Village
王指沟 Wangzhigou
Wangzhigou village's entrance is located just in front of the Shaoling Temple's main gate, and ten minutes walk to village center.
A peaceful environment where there are martial arts schools and trainees' dormitories. You can see many young trainees practicing martial arts from early morning till late at night. You will not only visit the world heritage temple, but also enjoy a wonderful atmosphere and experience authentic shaolin spirits.
Accomodation
Housed in a traditional Chinese style architecture, Shaolin Mountain Hostel has just renovated and reopened in summer 2016.
We have double and triple rooms, dormitories, meditation room, coffee room, and a dining room which provides breakfast, lunch and diner.
Air-conditionned, wifi, washing machine, transfer services are also available.
Our Training Program
We had a successful first summer 2016 hosting foreign and local trainees' groups of kungfu, qigong and meditation under Shaolin Secular Disciple's Union, who promotes Shaolin culture through their schools worldwide.
We are in collaboration with the Union, and arrange Kungfu (intern, extern, and various weapons), Qigong, Meditation lessons upon request --- a unit, daily, weekly, monthly lessons, to individuals and to groups.
Tourists are also welcomed to join trial lesson.
